A quest in commemoration of 18 year old Gerda Lesser, Erna and Gerhard Fleck and Charlotte Fleck, all of whom were deported from Reiswerder island in August 1944. With many supporters, Christiane Carstens went on a historical journey. Today she reports for the first
time on her research results with an audio contribution and a reading.
Meeting point: 2 and 3 p.m. at ferry terminal Reiswerder/Baumwerder at the DLRG house
on the mainland. Bus 133 from U7 Station Haselhorst to bus stop Weg nach Reiswerder. One minute walk to the DLRG house through the forest in the direction of the lake.

A plaque on the house front commemorates Robert "Robby" Uhrig. Despite a prison sentence he continued his fight against the Nazis.
Forgotten is his wife Charlotte, former secretary of the SPD Reichstag parliamentary group, who after her acquittal was deported to Ravensbrück concentration camp.
Gerhard Moses Heß and Jani Pietsch want to remember Robert and Charlotte Uhrig with letters, papers and songs.
